A family-wide view
Substantial family wealth is rarely contained in a single portfolio. It may include companies, property, pension arrangements, investments and family commitments across countries. Our family office approach helps organise these interests into one practical view.
We begin by establishing what the family owns, what it owes and who is responsible for each area. Existing advisers, reporting and decision-making arrangements are brought into the discussion. The priority is a useful picture that supports decisions, rather than more information for its own sake.
Oversight also means being clear about responsibilities. Who can make a decision? Who needs to be consulted? What information is needed beforehand? We help organise mandates, meeting rhythms and an agreed record of priorities, with decisions remaining with the people they affect.
Ownership and succession questions need particular care. The interests of a business owner, a spouse, children and future generations may differ. We coordinate with relevant legal and tax advisers so that family conversations and technical decisions can be considered together.
The aim is continuity with room for change: a clear agenda today, a record of agreed actions and a framework that can evolve as the family, its businesses and its circumstances develop.
